Can anyone use the commercial debt recovery service?
Yes, as long as you are a commercial and business enterprise we can handle single, multiple and bulk commercial debt recovery instructions.
What debts do you handle?
We can handle any type, amount and size of commercial debt.
How quickly do you contact the debtor?
We aim to send the first letter the same day if received before 3pm, however all debtors will be contacted within 48 hours of receiving your debt recovery requests.
What do you charge me?
We offer a no recovery, no fee service. So we only take the agreed commission upon your successful invoice debt recovery. Our commercial debt recovery rates are highly competitive and we can offer a quotation based on the debt type, age, amount and volumes.
How long can I expect the commercial debt recovery process to take?
Depending on the debtor we normally take a debt on for 60 days, and within that time period we contact the debtor by all ethical methods of communication to discuss and organise settlement of your invoice debt. After 60 days we liaise with you over the next available options.
Can you enforce county court judgments?
Yes we can offer a nationwide enforcement service and for debts over £600 we use a High Court enforcement service for this requirement.
Do you use third party providers to collect some commercial debts?
Yes, for certain types of debt as this can help enhance the recovery process.
What shall I do if a debtor contacts me after I hand Select Credit Management the invoice debt?
Please make us aware of this as soon as possible; if the debtor pays you directly then we will update our debtor reporting and invoice you for the agreed commission.
What methods of communication do you use for contacting the company debtor?
We use telephone, letter, email, fax and doorstep visits (if required) to contact the debtor.
